hello!

New flat! yes, I moved in on Saturday. Miranda is vegetarian so I dont have to see meat in the fridge. AND there is a cat! The house is on a nice street, 2 mins to the bus-stop, 10 mins in one direction to a supermarket, and ten mins in the opposite direction to a mall. Malls, bleugh, I don't like them but they are handy sometimes, like when you realise that the only can opener in the house is left-handed and you're halfway through cooking. The veggie peeler also seems to peeler fantastically when I use my left hand, and crappily when I use my right.
EDIT: Apparently it's not a left-handed can opener, it's a horizontal can-opener. Whatever, i still can't make it work.
The house is nice but cold, and I don't have pots of moolah to spend on electricity, so it's back to wearing lots of layers and tights under my jeans and making lots of cups of tea and hot water bottles.
