A happier post

I adore Sundays. They make me happy. It's mostly because of the market near my house. It's not a proper farmers market, it's more of a community market. There are a few farmers who sell their fruit and veggies, a coffee stall, local musicians, lots of yummy food, and families with babies and dogs. There is also a place called Reverse Garbage where you can find all sorts of treasures. I headed down again this morning and got $20 worth of fantasticness.
Here is my haul:
$20 got me:
1) 2 bunches of kale. Yummy yummy kale!
2) bunch of basil which i will turn into pesto and then freeze in tablespoon amounts
3) a bunch of coriander for dahl
4) a mirror
5) a kitchen scale (my beautiful scale is in NZ in a box)
6) a glass goblet to put earrings in
7) a fig and polenta slice
8) a coffee
9) another random glass container to put dry herbs in
10) a vegan cookbook (50c) called "super soy foods" which had this picture of the author on the back:

Also, things are looking up on the job front. I got called in to temp for 3 days last week at MSF, and on Friday they said they want me to keep working 3 days a week from now on. It's nice not to be stressing about money. Three days work a week is of course not amazing but it's enough to let me make do for now.

Lastly, a friend posted this beautiful video that I thought I would share. It's just lovely.
