Pics of our Blue Mountains trip from the weekend. It cost a ridiculous $11 return for the train. To put that in perspective, a return train trip to the centre of town from my house (about 5 kms away) can cost $5, so to pay $11 for a trip of 200km is just incredible.

Things here are okay. To be honest, I'm a little lonely. It's very difficult to meet people here, especially because I've got a tad of grandma about me. I don't like clubs and I hate talking to people I don't know in bars. I need to find the place where all the cool hippy vegans who like cats hang out.
I'm also having problems with my flat. One of guys went on a huge rant the other day at me, he just listed off all the problems with my character. It was pretty distressing. Apparently I am secretive, selfish, bad at reading people, and secretive, and I don't share enough. And even though we've kind of cleared the air, it's still a bit awkward, and that same flatmate keeps making barbed comments. I am ready to move out, and I will as soon as I find somewhere nice to move to, with flatmates who don't psychoanalyze me.
And I'm still unemployed, never fun for the soul. I am at the moment most definitely not living the Sydney dream.
