First up, a chance to laugh at me! (and also a chance to find out more about what I was doing in the Philippines. Click here to see a Youtube clip about MV and Project Lifecycle. You'll see me talking about the project in the most hilarious/embarrassing accent mish-mash. Is it Kiwi? South African? American? you decide!
Secondly, my friend April had her baby!!! Introducing Kim Ji Woo, modeling the wee gifts I sent her from NZ.
I love Asian babies, they're so cute!I went on a Waiheke Island escape last weekend with the lovely Laura and Nic. Liss was greatly missed. Milford Track 2010, ladies!!
This is us on the ferry, all windswept and excited-looking.

and this is the view from the house:

oh, and I got my hair cut short!

Now blogs are only fun when you add pictures and throw in the occasional curve ball. gossip. I've delivered on item number one, so here's item number two: if the blood and medical tests go well, I may be becoming an egg donor. It's early stages yet, I've filled out screeds and screeds of forms (luckily, I love filling out forms) and the medical tests should be happening this week. After that it's counselling, and then it'll be daily hormone injections. Why? well, why not? I don't mean that in a flippant way, but in a "if I'm healthy enough and the side effects are minimal and I can help a couple to fulfil their dream, then I should do it" kind of way. So fingers crossed my blood-tests will go well, although I'm a little nervous because of the whole PCOS thing. If it's meant to happen, it will happen.
Time for coffee!!
