I was sitting outside looking at the beautiful full moon and the fireflies in the mango trees when some little shit of a child decided it would be fun to light a frog on fire and watch it hop around. Needless to say, that little child got a clop on the head from me, and an earfull from Ma'am Tess. I don't often get very very angry, but horrible animal abuse will take me from 0 to 10 on the anger scale in about one second.
I am off to Kalibo tomorrow with Ma'am Tess to get another visa extension. We leave here at 5am on a trike to San Agustin, then catch a 2 hour jeepney from S.A to Lo'oc, then a two-hour boat ride to Caticlan, and then another 90 min bus ride to Kalibo. None of these transport methods are conducive to sleeping: in the jeepney you're usually crammed in like sardines with bags/children stuffed on your lap.
