If you took the time to trawl through all my Thailand pictures, you would have seen my pictures from Home and Life Children's' Home near Khao Lak. Here are some pics just to remind you of what an awesome place this is:

Home and Life has been supported by TVC (the organization where I volunteered) and also by a nearby temple. However, TVC is finishing in Khao Lak in December, and the temple can no longer afford to support the orphanage and the 20 kids who live there. Home and Life desperately needs new sponsors.
Now I know some people get skeptical about monetary donations, and certainly in bigger organizations, it's hard to know how much money actually reaches those in need. This is not the case with Home and Life. I've been there, I've met Root and Rosa who have given up a lot to run this place. I've met the kids there. These are good people with good hearts. Kids who have lost families due to the tsunami, due to family violence, due to other heart-wrenching circumstances are provided with so much love at Home and Life.
(this is Rosa and Root. They're awesome)

Anyway, so I hope that some of you might be willing to commit to a small monthly donation. I'm signing up to, and hoping to recruit 10 - 20 people to donate just $10 a month, or even $5. Email me if you're interested, and I'll put you directly in touch with Root.
Here is Home and Life's website, if you want to find out more about them.
