if you know me well, you'll know that I am passionate about supporting and defending rights: human rights, womens' rights, refugee and asylum seeker rights, and animal rights. This last weekend was the first time I've ever been to a gay pride parade, and I felt very honoured to be part of a celebration of a group of people whose rights are often not upheld.
The parade was held in downtown Seoul last Saturday afternoon. I went with friends from Amnesty International. Michael from AI wrote
this article, and if you scroll down to the bottom of the page, you'll see my smiling face! (but don't just scroll down, READ! its a very interesting article.)

Hey - didn't we join the gay pride parade here in Dunners? Or was that just Nic & laura and I when we played for the purple passions soccer team?
The rainbows are so pretty - they'd probably win an award for the prettiest pa-rade :o) (to quote Nic)

i don't think I did.. maybe it was just you, Nic and Laura.
yay, I love it when people comment on my blog, it makes me feel loved. You get 5 stars for all your commenting. My mom said she'd comment using a different name, so that it would seem like I had many more readers, but she hasn't delivered on that promise yet.
pa-rade, pa-rade! i'm pretty sure I pronounced it like that all day. people must have thought i was strange.
