woe is me! turns out Coffee Bean discriminates against non-milk drinkers! that's right! no more soy milk at Coffee Bean! fine. i'm switching back to Starbucks, not because I want to, but because they're now the only coffee place that has soy milk. Korea: Hub of Asia? I don't think so.

St Patricks Day was good, Tynessa and I met up with Josh, his ex, and other friend of his, and went to some club in Hongdae, to hear a pretty good U2 tribute band, and some other bands also. it was good, although lots of sleazy guys, ugh, and plenty of drinks spilled on my shoes and clothes. we stumbled home at 4am , which is SO MASSIVELY LATE for me, because you know me, i'm a bit of a grandma.

i'm still trying to decide what to do for my upcoming vacation. woohoo, university teaching jobs are the bomb, i get 5 weeks vacation in June/July. Part of me wants to go to NZ, because both Tynessa and Tyson are visiting NZ at the same time, but its winter! and i want to go home in summer. i'm also trying to see what volunteer/internship positions are available somewhere in Asia ... we'll see how things work out.
what else... i really want to start taking yoga classes, but the only English ones are about an hour away on the subway, and the only classes i can go to are the 7am ones, and knowing me, thats not going to happen. I am most certainly not a person who will get up at 6am to exercise. i had enough of waking up at 5.30am for work at the old evil job.

I had to go out with one of my classes last night, thankfully it was not as painful as when I had to go out with my almost mute 2b evening class. Last night it was my daytime 2a class, who are a lot of fun. and their other 4 teachers, Ruth, Vince, Tyson and Graeme also came along. the great thing about these dinners is that students will not let teachers pay at all, so we get free dinner and drinks! we do have to pose for countless photos and deal with overly touchy-feely drunk students though. ugh.
