well, I've had one day of teaching, and so far so good! I had 5 hours of class yesterday, and today I have 2 but I only start at 7.40pm! so I could sleep in this morning (omg, no more 5.30am wake-ups is THE BEST THING EVER!)
I had to traipse to Immigration this morning, luckily everything went smoothly. it was a paperwork nightmare though, you would not believe the number of documents I had to take with me. but, it turns out that I didn't need to get a police check or a medical test ('anal' and 'swab' are two words that should never go together!), but oh well, I couldn't have known that the government would make new rules and then change their minds several times afterwards.

Overall my new teaching schedule is pretty good, I start at 9.30 twice a week, and the other 3 mornings start no earlier than 11.30am. 4 nights a week I finish at 9.30pm. because I'm new at this job, my schedule is all over the place, i.e my classes are not in a nice easy block. but I don't mind, its still way better than my previous job! and since I live on campus, its just a 2 minute walk from work to my apartment.

I'm starting a new private this week on Wednesday nights, (my only night off, but there was no other time), and I'm continuing my privates with Joe, who I've been teaching for about a year, and who bought me that HIDEOUS handbag when I left Daegu. seriously, if there was one handbag that was completely opposite to my personality and dress sense, it would be this one. at least it wasn't some kind of animal-skin bag.

my students all seem very nice, although I'm finding the switch from one-on-one teaching to classroom teaching a challenge! I got so used to just sitting in class and talking with one student, now I have to go back to the teacher/entertainer role.

anyhoo, thats all from me for now. I have lots of planning to do, and the paperwork is already piling up.
