Its a real pity that I don't want to become a teacher, because I'm good at it. I don't mean to sound boastful, but I seem to be good at explaining things and teaching English . My students tell my Korean co-teachers that even though I am strict and my classes are challenging, I teach the best! yay!
to be frank, I find it hard to see how some people can be so bad at teaching .... there are some absolute shockers over here in Korea. Although maybe its not that they're not good, its just that they don't care. there's a lot of teachers like that here too.
anyway, its Friday today! and i don't work tomorrow!! I have to start packing, which I am looking forward to. I'm one of the few people who loves packing and unpacking. Give me a ring if you need any help with moving, and I'll be over there in a flash with my package tape and scissors and an annoyingly bouncy-happy attitude!
Tomorrrow I'm having a girly gossipy shopping day with Angela (my coworker's girlfriend who recently moved here from Australia), and then on Sunday i'm having lunch with Erin, who was in many of my German classes at uni, and who I randomly ran into on the streets of Seoul last year. and then after that I'm going to the cat shelter to play with kitties!! how nice to have some things to look forward to.

My my, there's a bit of the old "blowing your own trumpet" there, my girl! You're supposed to think these things, but not say them out loud (or commit them to print)! Modesty is never a bad thing!
Love, Mom
come on Mom, I live in Korea, not an easy place to live. I'm allowed to blow my own trumpet every now and then.
