i'm trying to think whether anyone who reads this has curly hair ..... and I think that not a single person does. (Please correct me if I'm wrong!) why am i wondering? well, being a person with curly hair, I am constantly on the look out for some kind of miracle product that will give me defined curls that arent crunchy or frizzy. its a lifelong quest, especially in Korea where everyone has dead-straight hair, and if it is curly, its those perfectly placed curling-iron curls.
But I've recently stumbled on a method that might just work: its the no-poo (no shampoo) method, based on the idea that shampoo strips away the hair oil that curly hair really needs, and that washing with water and conditioner alone is enough. actually, the more I read about it, the more it makes sense. So I'm going to try it , although i'm a bit annoyed because I am only about a fifth of the way into my new Body Shop shampoo that was quite expensive, and now I can't use it! oh well, i'll give it to some lucky person.

I had the laziest day today... I got out of bed at 1pm. Its becoming a bit of a habit. Since Tynessa has been away, I've really had no one to hang out with, so I've just been hanging out at home, doing nothing. its bad though, because the more I sleep, the more I want to sleep, and I think that too much sleeping is giving me headaches. I eventually ventured outside today at around 5pm and went for a walk down never the river. It was good, but really cold, and I forgot to take my earmuffs, and I got so cold that I had a cold headache. luckily , on the way back to my apartment, I found a Coffee Bean, a shining warm beacon in the cold, and got a delicious coffee to warm my hands for the walk home.
ooh, i just realised that my birthday is one month away! and, for once, its on a public holiday here too! This year, Lunar New Year falls on my birthday! although i'll be in the midst of cleaning my current apartment, and moving to my new apartment. i just hope i can find a moving truck, since Lunar New Year is the second most important holiday for Koreans.
