I think I've written about this before: how I love studying Korean, but how getting the motivation to start is really difficult. Now that we're at sub-zero temperatures (this morning on the way to work, it was minus 6!) I have become a sloth. every morning, getting out of bed is a huge mission. and if i have a free half an hour at work, i can be found sleeping on the couch in the staff-room.

oh yes, back to Korean studying... well I really do love my weekly Korean lessons, today I learned how to make sentences like: "If I get that new job, I won't have to pay rent", ie conditional sentences. It was difficult, i had to do on-the-spot translating, and I was inwardly cursing Mi Young when she was asking me to do it, but the satisfaction of getting it right was so good!.

Do any of you drink soy milk? I'm not the biggest fan , but i don't have a choice. and there aren't any of the flavoured varieties available here. but soy milk and I have temperature issues: I love it in piping hot caramel lattes from Coffee Bean. however, as soon as it cools down, it makes me gag. interesting.

ps: if you want me to send you a hideous Korean-style Christmas card, send me your address.
