so, here I am back in Korea. I hadnt really been thinking a lot about coming back, so it's suddenly hit me that I am here, far far away from home, for another year. and of course (i dont know why i had thought differently) all the same old things are annoying the hell out of me. for one, i have already been bitten by mozzies, and the motel dude gave me a room with no lock, which then meant lots of miming and then me having to move all my stuff up three floor, because, you know, he couldnt possibly have forseen my absolutely baseless frustration at being given a room with no lock.
but at the same time many things are making me smile because they are so Korean, like all the women tottering around in stupidly high heels, the insane driving, etc etc.
anyway, now i am waiting to hear from my foreign manager Rocky, who will hopefully take me around to see apartments, and then go in and visit my new school. darn, i will have to change out of my Sunny Dunedin t-shirt and 3/4 length pants. IT'S TOO HOT HERE, DAMMIT.

You wrote dude! That's what happens when you spend too long with Australian hippies! Hello hippies, we love you but you have wrecked our ability not to say dude, which is stupid when you're mid twenties and white and kiwi! Anyway, glad you're back safe, we must chat soon, Slow Hand Ingrid x Nic x
