my E4Help2 class are the best! I got them to make me Xmas cards last week, and told them that I would be very lonely because I could not be with my family. The best card came from Laura, and read as follows:
"Ingrid's Lonely Christmas" Dear Ingrid. Hi! Ingrid. I'm Laura. I think you're very kind and cutie teacher. I'm very happy of you. I love you so much Ingrid. But ... you're family was don't live in Korea, so you're very lonely. I want you read my latter and feel was happy. Please smile! If I'm Santa Claus, I'm give you present ... Present is boyfriend! You will not lonely next Christmas. Ha- ha. Merry Christmas! From Laura.
On the front and back of the cards were sketches of "lonely Ingrid", crying, and presents with boyfriends jumping out. hilarious!
on a more serious note, I nearly got run over downtown last week. Some of the streets in the main shopping area have no pavements, and people just walk all over the place. And dumb-ass drivers still insist on driving there, even though they have to crawl along very slowly because of all the people. I was standing on the side of the road, not in the middle, and all of a sudden felt huge pressure on the side of my ankle, because some stupid lady who thought that instead of tooting to ask me to move, she would just push her way through with her car instead. I have a wicked bruise on my ankle, luckily nothing more. Mostly I just got a huge fright.
