one degree of separation or "why I love Dunedin"

it has often been said by those in the know that there exists, in Dunedin, just one degree of separation between you and any other Dunedin resident..... and once again this has proved to be true. Nic and Meeks are in training for next year's Dunedine marathon, so i was browsing the marathon website. A-ha, i see a link to the 2006 marathon photos. "wouldnt it be funny," I say to Meghan sitting next to me, "if I saw people I know on here?"
........................................................................
........................................................................
and, whaddaya know, I see not one, but TWO people I know! Remember that several hundred people take part in this event, and only about 20 photos are on the site. AND I SEE TWO PEOPLE I KNOW!

Look, it's Holly! I flatted with Holly up in Mornington! She is super-fit and super-busy, and super-lovely.

And........ it's Ewa waving to the camera! We worked together at Studholme, and then spent many a cold morning eating random foods for the Human Nutrition department.

Hi Ingrid,

I was down in Dunedin the other week for work. It was a beautiful sunny day - the kind that make the cold not so bad!!

Can't remember if I told you that Matt has returned from his year in Japan - I'm catching up with him (and Amanda and Rebecca + others) tonight because it is Rebecca's 24th birthday today.

Take care, Kimberly

Yay, that will be us next year! Oh yes! Except unlike your other gorgeous friends, we will look dishevelled and miserable. Damn you Holly and your innate stylishness! Why aren't you red faced and sweaty!?!
