job hunting

While job-hunting can be boring as hell, you occasionally find gems like this one:
"jelly wrestlers. 3 weeks fun work. $1000 per week, immediate start, tour S.Island".
So, whaddaya think?

To fill in my time as an unemployed person - or should I say "one who is seeking employment" or "exploring new employment opportunities" - I've starting helping out at the hospital. Its quite fun, actually. I get a security pass ID, which makes me look important. I had my first day on Thursday, taking the shopping trolley around the wards, including the labour ward. Liz, you will be very jealous, I got to see tiny wee babies! One was only 10 hours old! The lady who was showing me the ropes wasn't very good, we got lost several times. That place is like a huge rabbit warren. Ironically, despite its size, I did run into my horrible 2nd year flatmates (never flat with 4 female med students, they have really inflated egos) who are now fancy-pancy 'trainee-interns'. luckily I was having a really good hair day, and they were all tired and all frazzled-looking, so mwah-ha-ha, I win. Childish I know, but I have a lot of repressed anger from flatting with them. Next week I get to help out in the shop that the volunteers run, and then after that I get to take the library trolley around the wards. If I impress, I might get to hang out in the children's ward and play games. The other helpers are all about a million years old, but they are so funny! they're always concocting schemes and tricks to play on people. One of couples that helps out have been helping for the last 10 years, they are so cute.
