Wow! This couldnt wait until tomorrow, so despite the late time, I just have to explain just how amazing Bic Runga's concert was. Sara and I went, it was at the Isaac Theatre Royal, lovely intimate venue (bic just wouldnt work in the town hall). She played all the the tracks from the new album, including a beautiful rendition of my favourite "Captured", and a couple from 'Beautiful Collision', and then for the encore, 'Drive' and 'Sway' which were hauntingly beautiful. She had Anika Moa, Shane Carter(?), and Anna Coddington on backup vocals (Liss and Nic: u know how we want to be shoop-shoop back-up singers, well lets be Bic's ones instead!) and Neil Finn on the piano. i need some more adjectives. enchanting, maybe even spine-shivering - you know what I mean. if you were thinking of going to see her live and you havent made up your mind yet, GO AND BUY YOUR TICKETS NOW! http://bicrunga.comOn a side note, Flight of the Concord were the opening act. I laughed until my sides hurt. 'Business time' is the funniest song, its a pity they werent able to make the Dunners concert because they were just hilarious.
