my 5 minutes of fame

Not the most exciting reading, I'll admit!  Still, pretty cool to be listed as a co-author.  There is so much politics about name positioning in author lists.  The most important person is at the start, i.e. my boss, Debra.  But the last name is the person who is considered the expert in the field.  Not knowing this, I asked Deb if I could be last in the list since I'm just a lowly student, and she thought I was trying to supplant Michelle.  Awkward!
