Whoops, slap on the hand for me! I think that my absence was the longest since I started this blog way back in 2006. I'm sneaking this post in with just 10 hours left of 2010.
So without further ado, I present to you the highs and lows of 2010
Top 5 best things that happened this year
1) Spencer Tunick naked photo shoot! Getting naked with around three thousand other people on the steps of the Opera House, followed by another photo shoot inside the Opera House.
2) Taking part in Mardi Gras. I felt to privileged and lucky to take part in this iconic event. There are many events/institutions that gay people cannot take part in (for shame, Australian government, for shame) so when I can take part in something even when I'm not part of that group, I feel very humbled and honoured.
3) Catching up with my aunt and uncle in NZ; I last saw them in 2000!
4) Meeting my vegan bake sale crew and taking part in 4 very successful bakesales.

And, to keep it real, the bottom 5 moments of the year
1) not even getting shortlisted for the Marie Stopes job.
2) the bedbug nightmare in July
3) the hideous 3 months I worked for that telemarketing company. *shudder*
hey, I can only think of 3 bad things! That's pretty good!
