what a buzz

I have just had the most incredible time at Imogen Heap's concert. I had to write about it straight away because tomorrow morning I won't have all the tunes and words crashing around in my head (in a beautiful way, of course). It was just phenomenal. Nothing beats seeing someone you love live.

She sung most of the songs from her new album, Ellipse, although she didn't sing the ONE song I really wanted her to sing (half life). However she more than made up for it when she sang that song that every Imogen Heap fan adores. Yip, I'm talking about Hide and Seek. what a song.

She also sang Just for Now, and taught the audience how to do all the backing parts. Being a part of the audience, split into a three-part harmony while she sang the main lyrics, man, no words can do it justice.

Another one of my favourites, (and again she blew my socks off) was Canvas, which you can listen to here.

So as a tribute to the amazing Immy, I'm posting her most famous song: Hide and Seek. And in case you think "hey, it's got that bit from that song on the radio", I'd like to point out that Immy did it FIRST.
