I am in my happy place: singing along to music (imogen heap, ellipse), reading blogs (mostly cooking ones), eating chocolate, and making a cup of tea which I will have with Gingernut cookies (don't fret, Leda make vegan ones). I had a fast and yummy dinner tonight: steamed broccoli, tabouli, and a new tofu recipe: pan-friend tofu. It was fast and easy to make, and really tasty.

I'm working 5 days this week, unfortunately one of them is my birthday! I know I shouldn't complain, people have to work on their birthdays all the time, but mine is on a big public holiday so I feel cheated. I'm taking baking with me to make the day go faster. I'm the only vegan anyone at work has ever met, so I've got to represent! Still choosing recipes, but will definitely have a vegan brownie in there somewhere, and perhaps something with coconut. Then we're going out for dinner, but not sure where yet.

Ooh! i nearly forgot! I bought a ticket to see Imogen Heap in Sydney in March. Screw having money for food and vitamins, go to concerts instead! That's my philosophy. If you're wondering who the heck Imogen Heap is, she's most famous for this song, and this song from her new album is on the TV ad for the Lovely Bones. I haven't seen the movie but I guess it's in the movie too.

And lastly, I think am taking part in a Spencer Tunick installation outside the Opera House in March. Google the artist and you'll see what it's all about. Think lots of nekkid people. I'm a little nervous, but it'll be liberating. I should have no issues with semi-public nudity thanks to the changing rooms at the gyms in Korea, but this is on a MUCH bigger scale.

Happy Birthday for Saturday Chickadee!!!

Sounds like a lovely day planned, even if you have to work.
