Sometimes it's nice to do something completely unrelated to Project Lifecycle. Yesterday I spent a glorious hour online reading vegan food blogs. It was bliss. I can't wait to have my own kitchen again. On that food note, I am already day-dreaming about what I'm going to eat at Sydney airport while I'm in transit (in two months time.) I'm going live it up good at Sydney airport because once I get off the plane in Chch it's back to being a strict vegan. I've had to relax my dietary restrictions here because my host-family would have nothing to feed me if I didn't eat egg. There's nothing I can do about it, but it still makes me quite uncomfortable. Also, I absolutely cannot tell my dear dear host family that Magic Sarap, the flavouring powder they put in everything, contains both beef and chicken stock.
I've also spent the last few days on more job applications, and lots and lots of time on one application in particular aka my dream job. Now I know the chance of getting this job are slim to none, but that hasn't stopped me doing google searches such as "New York vegan roommate". Wouldn't it be the most awesome amazing thing? (the job, I mean.) So you should all keep your fingers and toes crossed for me. And by "you" and "all" I mean the total of 5 people who read this thing.
PS: many thanks to the lovely Fiona who is the only person kind enough to take pity on me and answer my competition question. I'm still hoping for a rush of late entries ... (Hint Hint)
