aaahh, I can't wait to be out of this job and away from the madness that is my boss. If you've somehow forgotten, let's recap:
* she fired Tyson because he a) ate on ice cream on the way into class and b) went to class early (of course, she never told him to STOP going to class early either) , and then later lied about her previous reasons. When we called her on it, she accused us of 'making things up' .
* when teachers asked for an earlier additional round of teacher evaluations so that we could take the results and then improve, she refused on the grounds that "you're all arrogant and never listen anyway" .
*she is angry at 4 teachers in the staffroom, me included. But instead of talking to the teachers to resolve the problem, her solution is to ignore us completely! Yip, that's right: ignore us. The management strategy you've never heard of before.
* and last but not least: evaluations were done today. This is when the students evaluate the teachers without the knowledge that below 80% is a fail, and that these evals really affect teachers' jobs. So for the past 4 years, evals have always been done after lunch, meaning that classes start later and that teachers can come back to the office at 1.45pm instead of 1.30. This year, she decided to change this without telling anyone, and then got mad when teachers came at the usual 1.45pm
