hah! yeah! i got a good schedule, which is very surprising indeed. I really thought Daisy would still be angry and that her anger would translate into a really spread-out schedule and lots of writing classes. Instead, she's given me two evening discussion classes (these are highly sought after classes) and only one writing class, and then a listening class. my hours are down though, only 20 a week. apparently I can sign up for 4 extra hours teaching at the "Globee Dorm", the university's dorm. and, this gives me time to do some privates. Since I'm pretty sure this will be my last semester in Korea (hooray!), I'm really going to focus on saving saving saving.
Daisy, recalling the fact that many of us have said she is very unapproachable, has appointed another teacher as her assistant, so that instead of dealing with her, we must now take all our questions and issues to said assistant. brilliant! the less we have to deal with her the better.

I got a TV when Graeme and Jeff left today, they're off to live in NZ. The only reason I got it is to watch Olympics. olympics!! gymnastics! swimming! diving! track and field! although Korean tv will probably only show the events that Koreans do well in, like archery (boring), taekwondo (seen it a million times here) and weight-lifting (boring).

I found a new website to watch my favourite Korean drama show! the usually reliable www.mysoju.com hasn't been working. I was distraught because I was halfway through Spring Waltz. thankfully, another website has delivered, and has all the episodes with English subtitles.
the new Coldplay album rocks, i've been listening to it non-stop for two days and now know all the lyrics. I wish i had a soundproof room so that i could sing as loud as possible and dance and jump around. COME TO KOREA PLEASE COLDPLAY! huh, as if. no bands come here. hell, if I were a band, i wouldn't come here either.
