confession #1: i'm listening to Britney Spears, Blackout, and its strangely catchy.
confession #2: i just put things on my credit card: vegan essentials like nutritional yeast, vegan choc-chips, vegan parmesan cheese (!!!! its like Christmas!) etc.
confession #3: i spent about $80 on books today: a cookbook (1-2-3 Tofu!), an ESL book (boring but necessary), and some heavy reading (The White Man's Burden: why the West's efforts to Aid the Rest have done so much ill and so little good) (because i worry that my brain is going to mush) .

but i don't have to feel too guilty, because we got a 10% pay raise! yay!
