yay, I can finally update my blog with good news: I interviewed at Tynessa's uni last week, and got offered a position yesterday. This was very welcome news, as I handed in my notice at this job about a week ago, and that interim time where I had no real job planned, was a little nerve-wrecking. So the job is way better than my current shitty one. No more 7am starts, only 25 hours a week, and comparable pay to my current 40 hour job. AND A FREE BIG APARTMENT! and i know all this to be true, since I know a few teachers who work there, including Tynessa who I've known since I got to Korea. So I am very pleased indeed. I'm still not sure whats happening with the immigration requirements, they keep changing them, but more than likely I'll be hopping over to Japan for a few days sometime in Feb. However, one never knows, Presidential elections are tomorrow, and I wouldnt be surprised if the new president changes things all over again!
speaking of elections, ah, very very very different here. 12 candidates for President, from 12 different parties, and the front-runner is known to have been involved in MAJOR fraud, which strangely enough doesn't seem to bother most people. interesting times.
what else: Xmas in not far away now! I'll probably go to a coworkers house for Xmas dinner, not that we can celebrate too much, as we only get the 25th off and then Jan 1st off. yes, i am counting the days until I can leave this job.
