ugh. when i handed in my notice on Dec 10th, I told my manager that I would obviously be moving out of my apartment, and that they needed to start looking for someone to take my apartment. if they cannot find anyone, I'll have to keep paying rent on the place. "sure" she said, "i'll get onto it straight away".
well, i hadnt heard from the housing manager in ages, so I emailed him to ask for an update about finding a new tenant. Turns out he didnt even know i was leaving. So all this time when I thought they were looking for a new person, they werent. i hate this bullsh*t. my manager told me last week that she definitely told him. so someone is lying, and i'm going to end up having to pay more rent, because my crappy-ass school sure as hell won't pay. why is it so hard to live here sometimes? why are schools so intent on screwing us over?
