Monday's post was a little negative (but justifiably so, in my opinion), so here's a happier one.
Yesterday I had one of those really blissful moments, where for that one moment, its like those cheesy movie scenes where the sun bursts through the clouds and you can almost here that angelic chorus of "aaahhhh". or something like that. I'm sure you know what I mean.
anyway, so I was on the subway from Seollung to Sinchon, a 40 min ride, for a lesson. It was bitterly cold outside, so I was all wrapped up in my winter coat, scarf and gloves. I had a yummy soy caramel latte, and I was listening to Brooke Fraser on my mp3 player. And, I was toasty warm, because in winter, the subway seats are heated! best idea ever! Now most of the time, the subway runs underground, obviously, hence the name subway. but certain stations are above aground, and of course, when the train goes over the river thats above ground too. So the train emerged from underground, we were crossing the river, the sun was pouring in, the music and coffee were good, and in that moment, everything just came together, and I was struck by the feeling of being very very happy and content.

I love those moments. I always imagine my life to be a music video at that moment in time.
me too!! actually, I was thinking especially about the video for Brooke Fraser's song, i can't remember what its called, but its the second one on the Albertine album, becuase for that video, she was on the Japanese subway. So i was imagining that it was me instead of Brooke Fraser.
