i am pretty certain that I will be leaving my current job. I am angry that they don't look after us properly. And, i can get a better job, with, wait for it, 3 MONTHS PAID VACATION, and a free apartment that is double the size of my current one, and where I'll work less hours, leaving more time for privates. I am emailing them my CV next week, and I know someone there who can put in a good word. unfortunately, i have to stick it out at this job for another 3 months, otherwise I'd have to repay my airfare. But come February 2008, i will be gone from this job. gone gone gone! this saddens me, because I love my colleagues, and some of students are fantastic. but at the end of the day, I have a loan to pay off. i took this job because I was excited to live in Seoul, and because now-crazy-Nina said it was a good job, and I didn't consider all the financials. Nina lives in a cheaper area, so her rent doesnt kill her, like mine does.

I also don't know how I'm going to get a reference letter. My old school won't give me one (hey, my interfering cost them a lot of money) and I don't know if I can ask my current school, because then they'll know I am breaking my contract. hmmm.

edit: i just faxed the Ministry of Justice to apply for a copy of my criminal record, the closest thing we have to a police check. Since that paedophile was caught about a month ago(he used to teach here), Immigration are making police checks mandatory . Actually, its a shock that they were not mandatory, considering the number of people teaching kids.
