yay! my parcel of books from Amazon arrived today! I ordered Vegan with a Vengeance, and Becoming Vegan. I a SUPER-excited about the first book, because I know its going to be fantastic. The author has an amazing website, the Post Punk Kitchen, with video recipes, a forum, and even a theme song. I love the Post Punk Kitchen. The 2nd one is "the complete guide to adoptng a healthy plant-based diet", (see, Mom, no need to worry) with all the nutritional info I could ever want, in fact its written by two dietitians. I'm so excited to read them, but of course, first comes work. and first up is Jee Hung, the elementary school student who says nothing in class, and then goes home and complains to her mother that she doesn't get enough time to speak. Mommy-dear then rings my boss and complains. Look, woman, why the hell are you sending your 12 year old daughter to a school that teaches adults? Oh yes, so that you can tell your friends how amazingly talented and brainy she is.
