swimming!!! i joined the swimming pool at the gym across the road from school, and have been swimming most days after my morning work shift. Its a tiny wee pool, 25m, and only 4 lanes, but its just perfect. Swimming is my time-out activity, I love those seconds where you are under the water and everything outside of it sounds distorted and far way, and I do a lot of thinking.

Ana and Connor visited Tynessa and I this weekend, they came up from Daegu. we hung out at T's house on Saturday after work, went to a really cool bar, and then walked past a man wearing only his underwear who was hiding behind a car and talking on his phone (???)
We spent Sunday in Itaewon: Egyptian food, English-bookstore browsing, and then Thai food and cocktails. Yum.

It bothers me everyday that the subway stairs leading from the station to street level are uneven. the stairs are divided into 3 sets of stairs (does that make sense), and they are divided 14:12:17. it bugs me every day. 2 sets of even numbers and then odd numbers? why? who would do such a thing?

I got my couch on Friday!! free couch!! (well, free plus $40 delivery fee which i had to organise myself with a random man and his truck, after the pre-arranged mover cancelled on me, but then continued to hit on me via text message "if I marry a NZ girl, can I get a green card? I can be your bodyguard "wink wink").
