uh-oh. i woke up this morning with no voice! which was quite funny when I rang and left a happy birthday message on Melissa's answerphone, and I didn't realise my voice would come out sounding gravelly and hardly there.
but its not going to helpful for teaching later on. I have a very loud class of 10 years old, who'll I have to threaten with detention.
so, i'll soon be making my way over to the doctors office, where I am certain to be given a shot in the ass. No matter what your ailment is, be it a sore throat, sprained ankle, or a cough, you will get an injection in your rear end. So i've got that to look forward to. Last time i was there I also had no voice, and the nurses laughed at me! how rude, not good for when one is in a fragile weakened voiceless state. mean nurses.
