goodish news

yay, we are 90% of the way towards finding the pups a home. The response has been so much better than I expected. I had been feeling so down about it, thinking of those poor pups being put down or living at the SPCA for the rest of their lives.
I'm not sure yet when I'll be able to get my cat, it all depends on whether the puppies will be staying here next week. Linda and Richard have them for now, but I'll probably get them on Friday or Saturday. They are at the chewing stage, so it could be very interesting.

Hmmm, what else.... I had two more food disasters today (this all seems so fickle compared to all the other drama). I went to the 24 hour food place between classes to get dinner, and as soon as i walked in the lady saw me, recognised me, and said "kimbap?" i was quite chuffed that she had recognised me, but i had other food plans: napcha to be exact. Veggie dumplings with onions. So i asked for napcha, and she didnt understand, so I eventually said anio, anio, kimbap, ie I'll just get kimbap, dont worry about the napcha. and because she had recognised me earlier I gathered that she would remember my fussy kimbap order (takkogi, haemul, saengson, anmogoyo). then i go to leave, and she gives me kimbap AND another dish. Great! my nampcha, maybe she DID understand me.
but no, that would have been far to good to be true. i get back to school, open my bag of takeaways, and viola: pork ribs, and kimbap with ham and fish!
woo hooo! so then i bought chocolate and icecream for dinner instead.

Trust you to get involved in animal welfare!!!

Sounds like things are going great over there. How many other NZers are in the town you are?

News from this end: I've moved in with Tom and it's going very well. Work is going great too. Matt has just returned from Japan after his year away. He has come to Wellington as that is where Amanda is of course :)

I'm currently looking for some new frames for my glasses, it's so difficult to find the right ones! I'm not sure whether to go for something not too fancy, or something really funky...

take care of yourself, Kimberly.
