hey guys, at last i am here in Korea. First impressions: its bloody hot.
The flight was long (12 hours) and I didnt sleep much, too uncomfy. I had a very cheery Japanese guy next to me, we talked quite a bit. The air-hostesses were gorgeous, all very tiny, and dressed beautifully. I felt like an untidy elephant next to them.
We landed at around 10pm, and by the time i got through customs and found my bags, i had missed my bus to Daegu. I traipsed around the airport for a while, accosted every 5 mins by taxi drivers trying to get you to choose them (at first i thought they were kind strangers trying to help me). I eventually found two police mean (with very scary guns) who could speak English and they found me a free phone so that i could ring Ran from my school. Then i found a backpackers, whcih is where i am now. They'll drop me back at the airport soon so that i can catch my bus to Daegu.
thats it for now!

Wow - sounds like a mission!
I'll trade you your heat for our cold though. Yesterday it snowed here - finally - but it didn't settle =-(
weird to think you're on the other side of the world - kind of. what's the time difference over there?
Anyway, hugs from Liss
