successful Korea update: I'm now going to the Yale Foreign Language School in Daegu, thanks to my friend Nick who told his manager I was looking for a job. I had my phone interview on Wednesday, conducted in the one of the sound-proof phone rooms at work. Very intense questions, and a time delay, so it was a very testing interview, but they offered me a job straight away. the contract is a lot better: better pay, better accomodation, and the clauses are less vague and less open to imaginative/dodgy interpretation by the school. although its 6 days of teaching a week. *sigh* thats alot. But I'll be paying off that pesky student loan super quickly and then have money to go explore the world. I leave in the first week of July, flying out of either chch or akld, depending on flights. I'm so excited!!!!
i cant wait to catch up with you Dunedin pple in a couple of weekends, and you Auckland people just before I leave! any monetary donations to fund a farewell trip to welly would be much appreciated, all you fancy govt employees.
