Hello new city

It's been a busy week! I handed in my thesis, packed up my car, and am now back at home with the parents in Chch. I hadn't done much open-road driving, so I was quite nervous, but I really enjoyed it. Lucy and I talked a lot (lucy's my bee-you-ti-ful wee car) and I sang along to the few tapes that I have, it was fun. I got really sleepy when I was about 15 mins away from chch, but I thought I was further away, so I pulled over and had a wee nap, and then drove the rest of the way. My parents have moved house since I was last here, so its not like coming home, it feels like more of a holiday in a strangers house.
and, after defending Chch's flatness for the last 5 years, I find myself agreeing with Dunedin people: Chch is too flat! Where are the hills? Far far away.
too all of the lovely people who are on my dvd, wow, I am still overwhelmed, what an amazing gift. I watched it again yesterday, and it was me, not Nic, who cried. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!
