the internet can be very bad and very good. Very bad in that there are so many horror stories out there about dodgy recruiters, hideous school directors that dont pay you any money, or stick you in a crap flat. However, the net is also chocco full of everything I'd ever need to know about teaching overseas. I have lists of what I should look for in contract, what I should pack, English names to give to students etc etc.
As well as signing up the the ESL Position recruitment agency, I am also sending all my stuff to Asia Pacific Connections. One does not have to pay recruiters, so I might as well try and get the best job possible!
On a more exciting note, I got my Lonely Planet book in the mail the other day ($15 off Trademe, compared to about $50 in shops) I have read most of it already, AND I AM SO EXCITED!
